THIAFOS is an Insecticide, Nematicide, Organophosphate; a soil applied nematicide and insecticide.
- Targeted crops: Potatoes; Vegetables. Cucumber, tomato, pepper.
- Acts against motile larval stages of nematodes in the soil and prevents their invasion to roots of crops.
- Remaines unaffected by the soil types, soil pH, soil temperature and moisture.
- Recommended for use as part of Integrated pest Management (IPM).
Application:
- 3-6 days before sowing or transplanting the seedlings.
- Throw: Irrigation system.
- Rate of use: From 2-5 liters / hectare.
- For the plastic house, at a rate of 0.5 liters per house.
- Maximum number of treatments: One per crop.
