Maxom is a systemic insecticide that has an effect through contact and the stomach. It belongs to the neonicotinoid family.
- Definite and distinct effectiveness in combating insect strains that have acquired resistance to other chemical groups because it works in a new and unique way of effect, as it stops chemical nerve communication between the endings of nerve cells within the nervous system in locations where other insect compounds do not work.
- It acts as a stimulant for acetylcholine receptors on target insects, thus causing damage to the nervous system, and leading to paralysis of the insect and its inability to feed, walk, and fly, leading to the death of the insect.
- It affects all stages of the insect (larva and pupa, which is the transitional stage from the larva to the adult insect, the nymph and the adult, except for the egg stage).
- It has a systemic effect if added to the soil with irrigation water to combat all the insects mentioned previously.
- Producing a crop free of viral diseases and obtaining strong and ideal vegetative growth.
- It is characterized by its long-lasting effect after treatment and low use rates compared to other pesticides.
How to use:
- It should be sprayed in the early stages of insect infestation, sraying on the leaves or watering through the soil to combat a wide range of boring and sucking insects such as: whiteflies, thrips, mealybugs, and aphids, as well as biting insects, such as beetles, borers, cutworms, tunnel makers, and hoppers.
